Son:Dad, I am hungry, what's for dinner?
Dad:I wish I knew, but your mom is on strike right now. How about let's go out to have some fast food.
Son:Eating junk food and having trash-talk together? Sounds fun to me. But aren't you worried about the high cholesterol in the food?
Dad:I am more concerned about the garbage in your talk. I wish your teacher taught you better, like the good old days when I was young.
Son:My teachers wish the same. They wish our parents taught us better, like the good old days when they were young.
Dad:You know why your mom is on strike? Because she is upset about your attitudes and grades.
Son:My attitudes never change. I just want to be myself. But I do see you and mom change. You don't trust my decisions any more.
Dad:Excuse me, have we changed? We just want to help you to be a useful and respected person. Is it too much to you?
Son:I don't want to be used, and I don't live on people's respects. I just want to be myself.
Dad:But how to become yourself if you can't even fix the dinner? Should we invite your teachers to join this discussion too?
